Brain and Memory Health

Few people are prepared for the devastating and life-changing impacts of Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. St. John’s Institute for Cognitive Health, an affiliate of the University of Utah Center for Alzheimer’s Care, Imaging and Research, provides assessment, treatment and an integrated continuum of care plan for those suffering from memory impairments.

Services offered:

- Screening, memory assessment and neuropsychological testing

- Patient and family counseling and education

- Coordination with physical, speech and occupational therapists, as well as registered dietitians

- Referrals to the University of Utah Center for Alzheimer’s Care, Imaging and Research

- Coordination of care with primary care providers

- For a limited time, free memory and cognitive health evaluations for United States veterans in the VA health care system
