A strong financial foundation is necessary to continue our mission of providing a wide variety of services to our community. Receiving payments helps us maintain a viable financial standing.
St. John’s Medical Center is a participating provider with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO’s and other private insurance plans.
At the time of your pre-registration or admission, we will verify coverage and benefits, and obtain authorizations if required.
When you come in to register, it is important that you have on hand your insurance card and a photo ID as well as any other information regarding your admission. In order to have your most current billing information, we ask to copy your insurance card.
Insured Patients
As a courtesy to our patients, St. John’s Medical Center will bill your insurance company in a timely manner and monitor your insurance claim status. You will receive an Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company on how your claim was processed.. After insurance has paid, a 10% discount will be offered to you within the first 21 days of the billing date, if you pay your balance in full.
Payment Options
We accept cash, checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, and the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card and AMEX. To make a payment, you may visit our office located at the address below, stop at the front desk area in the hospital, visit our website at www.tetonhospital.org and go to "Online Payment" under the "Patient Assistance & Billing" tab, or mail your payment with the top portion of your statement to:

Non-Insured Patients
Patients who do not have insurance will be considered self-paying. They are also entitled to a 10% discount when their balance is paid in full within the first 21 days of the billing date. Financial assistance through St. John’s Medical Center is available for those who qualify and are not eligible for assistance from Government programs.
