Lunchtime Learning Presentation focuses on Prevention of Overuse Injuries

On Tuesday, January 10th, the Community Health Information (CHI) Center at St. John’s Medical Center will host the Lunchtime Learning presentation “Preventing Overuse Injuries from Winter Sports” with Matt Braga, MSPT, manager of Teton Physical Therapy and director of St. John’s Medical Center Rehabilitation Department.
The discussion will include injury prevention, movement assessment and stretches for common overuse injuries such as hip bursitis, IT band syndrome, arch pain and rotator cuff tendonitis.
Matt has spent over 12 years working in outpatient orthopaedic clinics and earned his Masters of Science in physical therapy from the University of the Pacific.
