St. John’s Medical Center hosts Lunchtime Learning Presentation on Pain Management (March 12, 2012)

On Tuesday, March 13th, the Community Health Information (CHI) Center at St. John’s Medical Center will host the Lunchtime Learning presentation “Preventing the Golden Years From Turning Blue: Managing Pain as We Get Older” with Marc Domsky, DO, board-certified Anesthesiologist and Director of the St. John’s Pain Clinic.

Topics will include common misconceptions about pain, social and environmental factors affecting pain and how it’s treated, and medical and non-medical treatment options.

Dr. Domsky graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his residency in Michigan where he first became interested in pain management. He moved his practice to Jackson in 2003. He is currently the chairman of the department of anesthesiology at St. John’s Medical Center.
