On Tuesday, November 13th, the Community Health Information (CHI) Center at St. John’s Medical Center will host the Lunchtime Learning presentation “Stress Management for Chronic Disease: Complementary Methods that May Help” with Maureen Molinari, RD, CDE.
Through a combination of lecture and experiential activities, Ms. Molinari will explore the impact of chronic stress in your body, stress and the relationship to blood glucose management, nutritious ways to counterbalance stress, and simple and effective complementary methods to regulate stress.
Ms. Molinari is a registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator who has a master’s degree in Mind Body Medicine. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. to further explore the dynamic interplay of the mind, body, and spirit on one’s health.
