St. John's Diagnostic Imaging Offers Heart Disease Screenings in February

January 18, 2012

St. John's Diagnostic Imaging will be offering discounted Computerized Tomography (CT) Coronary Calcium Scoring exams for $200 throughout February -- Heart Health month. "This screening is a good choice for many individuals looking for more information about their heart disease risk," said St. John's Radiologist Robert Berlin, MD. “This painless but powerful new test can help identify heart disease before symptoms arise.” The discounted price -- nearly half off regular price -- includes the interpretation by St. John's board-certified radiologists. Payment must be paid at the time of service to be eligible for the discount and a physician’s order is required.

Calcium scoring is a new application of the hospital's Toshiba 320-slice CT scanner, purchased with funds from a major bequest from the Clifford P. Hansen Trust, a generous gift from the Knobloch Family, and other donations. To schedule an appointment call 307-739-7531. For more information on cardiac imaging, visit tetonhospital.org/cardiacCT.
