On Tuesday, October 11th, the Community Health Information (CHI) Center at St. John’s Medical Center will host the Lite Lunch Presentation “Staying Fit through the Winter” with Nola Peacock, MPT, DSc.
The discussion will include, among other topics, seasonal variation in physical activity and body composition, strategies to improve cardio-respiratory fitness, and winter weight management.
Nola works as a Physical Therapist and Wellness Specialist at St. John’s Medical Center. She received her Doctor of Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. She has published research in the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy and has authored a chapter in Women’s Health in Physical Therapy.
