St. John's Medical Center hosts Community Presentation on Lymphedema

On Tuesday, January 24th, the Community Health Information (CHI) Center at St. John’s Medical Center will host the community presentation “Lymphedema: Causes and Treatment” with Dr. Norene Christensen, PT, DSc, OCS, CLT and Laura Garrard, CLT, CMT, NCTMB.
The discussion will cover how manual manipulation, compression, therapeutic exercise and skincare management can help you reduce fluid retention and swelling from lymphedema.
Dr. Norene Christensen is a Doctor of Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy and Certified Lymphatic Therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. Laura Garrard is a nationally certified lymphatic and massage therapist and Reiki master teacher.
