
Louis I. Hochheiser, MD is the Chief Executive Officer of St. John's Medical Center. Dr. Hochheiser, a Teton County, WY resident, is a family physician with extensive healthcare leadership experience.
As the former Chief Medical Leader for a Fortune 100 healthcare insurance and services company, Dr. Hochheiser oversaw the work of a large team of physicians and clinical policy staff located throughout the country. Prior to that, Dr. Hochheiser was chair of the Departments of Family Medicine at Brown University and at the University of Vermont. He has also provided advice and expert counsel nationally to organizations across the health care spectrum,including hospitals and agencies focused on mental health, wellness and prevention.
John J. Kren has served as Chief Financial Officer at St. John's since June 2009, providing the organization with financial performance leadership from both an operational and strategic perspective. Mr. Kren is also responsible for the organization’s Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Internal Audit, and Materials Management functions.
Mr.Kren has served St. John’s Medical Center for eight years where he has held a variety of senior management positions including Finance Director/Controller, Operations Officer, and Compliance Officer. Prior to being recruited to St. John’s Medical Center, Mr. Kren served at Central DuPage Health in Chicago, IL, as an Administrative Resident, followed by roles in Accounting, Finance, and Compliance. He has also had an extensive entrepreneurial background.
Mr. Kren holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama each with dual concentrations in Accountancy and Finance. He also holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham with joint study at the University of Chicago. Mr. Kren is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Gary S. Trauner is Chief Operating Officer, serving since September 2010. He provides administrative leadership for Communications, Information Systems, Radiology/Imaging, Cardiopulmonary Services, Facilities, Laboratory, Rehabilitation Services, Environmental Services, Lodging and Bio-Medical Services. Mr. Trauner is also charged with overseeing new business strategy and development.
Before joining St. John’s Medical Center, Mr. Trauner was Co-Founder, Chief Financial Officer, and member of the Management Committee for Cell Response Formulation, LLC, a health and nutritional products company. Prior to Cell Response, Mr. Trauner was Co-Founder, Chief Financial/Operations Officer and member of the Board of Directors for OneWest.net, the largest regional Internet Service Provider in the intermountain west.
Mr. Trauner earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colgate University with a major in mathematics/economics. He earned his Masters in Business Administration Degree at New York University with a concentration in finance and accounting.
Lynn Kirman is Chief Nursing Officer, serving since September 2010. She provides administrative leadership for Inpatient Nursing services (Primary Care Unit, ICU, and Obstetrics), Emergency Department services, Oncology services, Home Based services and Hospice, Surgical services, Pharmacy, Quality Improvement, and Nutrition Services.
Before joining St. John’s Medical Center, Ms. Kirman was Vice President - Nursing and Director of Emergency Services at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. She also served as Director – Medical/Surgical Services. Prior to her time at Glendale, she served as Educator – Rehabilitation/Medical/Surgical for USC University Hospital.
Ms. Kirman earned her ADN at Pasadena City College and her BSN/PHN at University of Phoenix. She received her MHA at University of La Verne.
