St. John's Announces Judy Basye Receives designation as Certified Breast Patient Navigator
St. John’s Medical Center proudly announces Judy Basye, RN, OCN,
has received the designation of Certified Breast Patient Navigator by
completing the National Consortium of Breast Center’s Breast Patient
Navigator Certification Program. This certification program validates
Judy Basye’s knowledge and skills in navigating breast patients
through their breast care/cancer continuum of care. Breast Patient Navigator
certification directly benefits patients by equipping Breast Patient Navigators
to personally guide each patient through the care process.
Judy Basye is certified to navigate a patient through the breast imaging
and breast cancer stages with assistance from St. John’s Medical
Center’s integrated team members. Breast Cancer Patient Navigators
are dedicated to saving lives by ensuring all patients who have a suspicious
finding receive resolution through timely diagnosis and treatment, eliminating
barriers to care, assisting with follow-up appointments and ensuring each
patient efficiently moves through the care delivery system.
