St. John's hosts a Lite Lunch Presentation June 23rd
On Thursday, June 23rd, the Community Health Information (CHI) Center at
St. John’s Medical Center will host the Lite Lunch Presentation
“Health Care Reform: How it impacts hospitals, physicians and YOU”
with Gary Trauner, COO, MBA.
The discussion will include how the focus in patient care is moving from
medical intervention to providing more preventative care and how the law
is changing the way hospitals and medical providers take care of patients.
Mr. Trauner will also discuss health benefits that community members may
be eligible to receive.
Mr. Trauner first developed a broad understanding of health care policy
during his campaigns for US Congress and has continued to stay on top
of this important issue as it directly affects everyone in this community
and across the country. As Chief Operating Officer at St. John’s
Medical Center, Mr. Trauner has been involved in implementing new processes
in the areas of patient care, reimbursements, quality and electronic medical
records as required by the new law.
This free brown bag health talk will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm
in the Moose-Wapiti Classrooms at St. John’s Medical Center. Call
the Community Health Information (CHI) Center at 739-7244 or visit tetonhospital.org/HCR
