Holzinger Appointed to Post by Governor Mead
St. John’s Medical Center announces that Jody Holzinger, CPMSM, CPCS,
RHIT, Medical Staff Services Coordinator, was recently appointed to the
Wyoming Board of Medicine by Governor Matt Mead, effective March 1, 2011
for a four-year term. She is the first member appointed with medical staff
credentialing expertise. The board is made up of five physicians, one
physician’s assistant and two public at large members.
“Boards and commissions are an important way to serve our citizens,”
Governor Mead says. “The men and women who have agreed to give their
time and energy are committed to making sure we provide excellent service
to our citizens and I have encouraged them to work as efficiently as possible.”
In her role at St. John’s, Ms. Holzinger is responsible for making
certain that all patients at St. John’s Medical Center receive care
from practitioners who are properly educated, licensed and trained in
their specialty. She has cultivated a relationship with the members of
the Wyoming Board of Medicine due to her status as the leading expert
in the state on physician credentialing and privileging. “This is
quite an honor and well deserved,” said Pam Maples, CEO, St. John’s
Medical Center. “We are very proud of her.”
