St. John's Medical Center hosts August Lunchtime Learning Presentation
On Thursday, August 23th, the Community Health Information (CHI) Center
at St. John’s Medical Center will host the Lunchtime Learning presentation
“Recent Advances in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and ALS
Research” with Zach Hall, PhD.
Dr. Hall is a retired neuroscientist and former director of the National
Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. He is also a member of
the St. John’s Board of Trustees.
Dr. Hall will discuss the similarities and differences among these diseases,
the role of genetics in neurodegenerative disease and what it has taught
us, and potential therapies on the horizon.
The presentation will be held from noon - 1 pm in the Moose/Wapiti Classroom
