Completing St. John’s Medical Center (SJMC) Auxiliary’s latest
pledge, President Stacey Caesar presented the St. John’s Medical
Center Board of Trustees with a check to complete the Auxiliary’s
pledge of $150,000 for the purchase of state-of-the art patient medication pumps.
“The SJMC Auxiliary is pleased to be able to fund the purchase of
40 new medication pumps for the hospital. We are very grateful for the
community’s support of our events and sales which makes this donation
possible,” stated Caesar.
Funds raised by the all-volunteer Auxiliary through two major annual events
go directly toward the purchase of specific equipment for the hospital.
The Auxiliary’s 2013 Spring Fling gala, featuring music by Mandatory
Air, will be held at Jackson Lake Lodge on Saturday May 25th. The annual
Charitable Golf Tournament will be held at Teton Pines Resort and Country
Club on Sept 9th. Proceeds from these events will go toward the Auxiliary’s
new pledge of $150,000 for integrated surgical suite equipment.
Since its inception, the SJMC Auxiliary has raised more than $2 million
to support St. John’s educational programs and fund the purchase
of medical equipment for the hospital and a bus for the Living Center.
Auxiliary meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at noon
in the Moose-Wapiti classroom at the hospital and include a monthly presentation
and luncheon. To learn how you can become a member, or for more information
