People who want assistance signing up for health insurance may receive
services through a partnership between St. John's Medical Center,
the Teton County Library, and other agencies.
From February 1 through March 31, certified marketplace navigators from
St. John's Medical Center and Teton County Library are offering an
expanded schedule of appointments, for no charge, at the Teton County Library.
One-hour, private appointments are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday nights at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. and on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 11
a.m. Call the Library front desk at 733-2164 to schedule an appointment.
After March 31, appointments will be available by calling St. John’s
Medical Center at 739-7244 or the Teton County Library at 733-2164.
Since early November, navigators from St. John's and the Teton County
Library have provided one-on-one assistance to over 60 community members
interested in signing up for health insurance on the federal marketplace.
One in five people in Teton County does not have health insurance.
On Thursday evenings, the Library also offers a Tax Assistance Program.
Individuals seeking assistance with both health insurance registration
and federal income tax preparation should inquire about consecutive appointments.
Many of the same documents are required for both services.
