On Monday, November 24, St. John’s Medical Center will host the community
presentation, “Five Things you can do to Prevent Diabetes,”
at the Teton County Library from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Topics include debunking common myths about diabetes, making choices that
encourage better health, staying positive, and learning to coach yourself.
The presenter, Beverly Thomassian, RN, MPH, CDE, BC-ADM, is the founder
of Diabetes Education Services and a keynote speaker for diabetes events
nationwide. She is also associate clinical professor at the University
of California, San Francisco and a visiting professor at California State
