On Thursday, November 6, St. John’s Medical Center will host the
lunchtime learning presentation, “Winter Safety Tips for Older Adults,”
at the Teton County Library from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. (please note the time
change for this session).
A team of presenters will teach seniors how to put together a winter emergency
kit, improve balance, prevent falls and get up afterwards, participate
in the new “Age-Friendly Jackson Hole” initiative, and take
advantage of winter programs to stay safe and happy.
Presenters include Becky Zaist, executive director, Senior Center of Jackson
Hole; Nola Peacock, DPT, cardio pulmonary rehabilitation expert, physical
therapist, St. John’s Medical Center; and Tim Cully, RN, CFRN, St.
John’s Medical Center emergency department, Teton County Search
