St. John’s Hospice invites the public to Light Up a Life on Wednesday,
December 9 at 6:00 pm in the St. John’s Medical Center lobby.
Staff from the Medical Center, Foundation, and Hospice will present a tree-lighting
ceremony to remember and honor loved ones. During the ceremony, names
will be read as the lights are illuminated. Musical guests include the
children's chorus from Big City Broadway; folk musicians Christine
Langdon, Phil Round, and Shelley Rubrecht; St. John's vocalists Amy
Robinson, De Hunter, Lisa Larson-Hoyt, and Caroline Jolley; and piano
accompanist Laura Huckin. Light refreshments will be available after the ceremony.
A $20 donation celebrates a loved one and benefits programs for St. John’s
Hospice patients. Donations can be made online at
