NBA Hall of Fame player Bill Walton will visit Jackson Hole for a youth
basketball clinic and to host a free back pain seminar with St. John's
Medical Center spine specialist Dr. Chris Hills.
"There have been significant advances in back pain treatments and
I'm pleased that Dr. Hills and Bill Walton, a spine patient himself,
are offering community education about this important topic," said
St. John's CEO Lou Hochheiser, MD. "I'm definitely looking
forward to meeting one of my sports heroes."
Youth Clinic: The two-time NBA Champion will host the free clinic on Tuesday,
September 8 from 4:00 to 5:00 at the Jackson/Teton County Recreation Center.
Participants will learn fundamental basketball skills and have the opportunity
to meet and interact with the star center. There will be a free throw
contest, with the winner of each age group receiving a signed basketball
from Mr. Walton.
Back Pain Seminar: Mr. Walton, with Dr. Hills, will speak about chronic
back and leg pain and treatment options. The free seminar will be held
