St. John’s Medical Center will begin introducing top Chief Executive
Officer candidates to the Jackson Hole community at public "Meet
& Greet" receptions. The first of these opportunities will take
place on Thursday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 19 from 5:30 pm to 7:00
pm at the Wort Hotel's Goldpiece Room.
On Thursday, April 14, St. John's will host Paul Beaupre, MD. Dr.
Beaupre is Chief Executive Officer of Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose,
California. While practicing as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Beaupre served
in various medical staff leadership roles, including chief of staff and
chairman of the board of trustees. In hospital administration, he served
as chief medical officer and chief operating officer prior to assuming
the chief executive officer post.
On Tuesday, April 19, St. John's will host David Robertson, MSPH,
MBA. Mr. Robertson is Senior Vice President, Networks, for Vizient, the
nation's largest member-owned health care organization. Based in Oklahoma,
he is also Chief Executive Officer of LifeCare Health Services. Prior
to taking that position, he served as president and chief executive officer
at the Monongalia Health System in Morgantown, WV. He has also served
as chief executive officer for hospitals in Oklahoma and Iowa.
The executive search for a replacement for Chief Executive Officer Lou
Hochheiser, MD, began in November 2015 upon Dr. Hochheiser's announcement
of his retirement. Hochheiser took the top position at St. John's
after several years serving as advisor to the St. John's Medical Center
Board of Trustees.
