Wyoming Medical Society’s annual meeting will take place on Saturday,
January 20, beginning at 7:00 am at Snow King Resort. Focused on the theme
of the “Future of Medicine,” the talks, hands-on activities,
and dinner are open to the public. This program will showcase the latest
in medical technologies at this event, which will draw medical providers
from around the state.
Participants can learn about and experience medical robotics, remote physician
services, and the IBM Watson artificial intelligence medical program.
At an interactive session, participants will see augmented reality systems,
robotic physician assistants, wireless ultrasound, robotic surgical systems,
and remote patient assistant devices.

an interest in the latest advances in medical technologies to attend,”
said St. John’s Medical Center communications officer Karen Connelly.
Joseph C. McGinley, MD, PhD, the president of the Wyoming Medical Society,
also welcomes the public to the President’s Dinner, during which
world-renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Scott H. Kozin will present on the
first double hand transplant performed in the world. Dr. Kozin and this
surgical procedure were featured on the Today Show, Newsweek, and numerous
other national and international news outlets. Learn about this inspirational,
life-changing surgery and the medical team that made it happen for a very
special boy and his family.
The morning presentations are free, and the President’s Dinner is
