Film Premiere: The Embrace of Aging

3-Sep-2015

On Saturday, August 15, St. John’s Medical Center will host the film premiere, “The Embrace of Aging,” at the National Museum of Wildlife Art at 7:00 p.m.

In the film, director/producer Keith Famie and his team illustrate the male and female aging process through the viewpoints of medicine and science as well as human-interest stories.

The film documents three years of stories from around the world, capturing the lives of men and women from the countryside of Sardinia, Italy, to the small villages in Okinawa, Japan, to the mountaintops of Jackson Hole, Wyo (where men hold an annual “Manuary” winter retreat and girlfriends hike trails in the summer). The film features local Jackson residents Connie Kemmerer and co-executive producer Tom Rau, among others.

Ticket are free and a limited number are still available at St. John’s Medical Center Wellness Department at 625 E. Broadway.

The Museum's doors open at 6:30 pm and a cash bar is available.
