Hospital patients can greatly benefit from visits from friends and loved ones. Our visiting policies are designed to make your trip to the hospital more convenient, and to ensure the privacy and safety of all of our patients.

Cafeteria

Choices Cafe is staffed weekdays from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, offering a variety of hot meals, grill specials, a salad bar, and delicious desserts. Patients and guests can order from room service on weekends and evenings.

Cellphones

The use of cellphones is restricted in some areas of the hospital. Please look for posted signs or ask a staff member.

Hand Hygiene

Frequent hand washing is the best defense against infection. To help protect our patients from infection, all visitors should thoroughly wash their hands. You can also use the alcohol-based foam dispensers on the walls throughout the hospital.

St. John’s Hitching Post Lodge

St. John’s offers accommodations for patients and visitors to the hospital. The historic and quaint Hitching Post Lodge is conveniently located across the street from the medical center campus. In September 2012, the Historic Preservation Board of Teton County gave the Hitching Post Lodge a bronze plaque, recognizing it as a place of historic importance. Call 307.733.2606 for reservations and availability.

Tobacco-Free Campus

Tobacco use is not permitted anywhere on the hospital campus. Ask our staff about nicotine-replacement therapy and other resources to help you quit smoking.

Wireless Internet Access

We provide free wireless internet service to patients and families from their personal laptop computers and smartphones.
