St. John’s Living Center
Jackson Hole Long-Term Care Facility
Entrusting the care of a loved one to someone else is not an easy decision,
but one that can ultimately benefit both of you. St. John’s Living
Center is the long-term care facility at St. John’s Medical Center.
We deeply respect the immense trust you are placing in us by allowing
us to care for your loved one. Our treatment methods emphasize caring
for the person, not the condition, meaning we take your concerns and your
loved one’s input into consideration while managing their care.
The Living Center is a 60-bed skilled nursing facility, featuring 27 semi-private
rooms and six private rooms. Nurses are available 24 hours a day to assist
with medication administration, nursing assessment, behavior management,
treatment, and activities of daily living.
Eden-Registered Nursing Home in Wyoming
The Eden Registry is an organization that honors long-term care facilities

field. In other words, Eden-registered organizations see their patients
as people, not just someone with a medical condition. Though you may commit
someone to our facility because of a particular issue, you can trust that
our staff will look after all of their needs, including mental and emotional

Planning for the Future
Although the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid has consistently given St.
John’s Living Center a 5-star rating, we are continuously striving
to expand and improve our services. We have already implemented innovative
treatments and activities that help our residents enjoy a better quality
of life, and these are only the start. The near future will bring in even
more features that serve our patients and their families.
- Our current life-improving activities include:
Music Therapy Programming – Research has proven that music can help to alleviate anxiety and soothe
pain. Once a week, a board certified music therapist visits the Living
Center to work with our residents.
Intergenerational Activities – Admitting your loved one to a nursing home does not mean their relationship
with you or your children is coming to an end. We regularly organize engaging
activities suitable for all ages. Social engagement can greatly improve
a patient’s mood and mental wellbeing.
TimeSlips Storytelling Groups – This is a collaborative storytelling activity for patients dealing with
memory loss. The goal of this program is to improve mental capacity and
mood through creative expression.
